Setting the table with
the elements you need
to transform passion into impact.

Strategy. Storytelling. Support.
For the greater good.

You shouldn’t have to build a huge team to make a huge impact.
Leaders of small organizations, however, are asked to wear so many hats that they get pulled away from relationships and energy that ignited their passion.
We know. We’ve been there.
It can feel like only larger organizations and churches can afford to have dedicated operations, communications, and fundraising staff. As a leader of a small organization, you’re likely doing all of those tasks on top of your day-to-day responsibilities. Or worse, these tasks keep sliding down the to-do list and your organization is struggling to reach your full potential.
That’s why we founded Communion Collective.
We’ve spent our careers leading mission-driven nonprofits and gospel-centered churches. We know where you are and we know, first-hand, the challenges you’re facing. Our experience will help your community of faith and equity-oriented organization seek justice and spread good news.
Our years of professional experience, our commitment to human-centered design, and our passion for asset-based thinking will help you make the world more just, equitable, verdant and whole. Like you’ve always dreamed.
Bring us on board.  We’re here to help you succeed.

What we value

Authenticity

Being clear about why we do the work we do, what motivates us to push forward, and what we believe is possible is critical to success. What’s even more important? That we live, work, act, and speak in ways that reflect what we believe.

Connection

Work of faith, equity, and justice is unequivocally about relationships and people. Therefore, we make space to understand, connect, and care for one another.

Justice

In our daily lives and in our work with churches and organizations we work toward a whole, equitable, justice-filled Kingdom.

Humility

Our perspectives have limitations. In order to help people solve complex social issues, we have to ground ourselves in diverse points of view and make choices that reflect those viewpoints.

Moxie

New ideas, new data, new designs, new possibilities get us all fired up. We aren’t afraid of big risks. When we need to change course, we take stock, take responsibility, and make changes right away, because none of us are too good to get better.

Impact

We hold ourselves to high standards, make data-informed decisions, and orient toward long-term success and tangible results.

work with us!

Our careers have spanned grant writing to preaching, conference planning to brand development, retreat design to community engagement and life coaching to school leadership. We’ve led ministries in big Methodist churches, tiny rural Presbyterian ones, and in our spiritual home– The Alliance of Baptists and Cooperative Baptist Fellowship. We have worked for a large national nonprofit and a small family foundation and have been on the boards and steering committees of others.

What our clients say

"Our church was at a turning point where we needed to clarify who we are to our community. Biz of Communion Collective helped us revise our mission and create language, so now, nobody has doubts about what we stand for. She guided us through the steps in a way that pulled the church even closer together and energized us about our future."
